BE RIGHT BEACH
Be Right Beach is a system for monitoring the environmental parameters of beaches and sea and for assessing the level of occupancy by bathers. The aim is to provide a support service to beach regular in order to intelligently target beach occupation and avoid coastal erosion caused by overcrowding. The image shows the monitoring unit of the Poetto beach in Cagliari. It consists of 4 main macro-systems: a ground station for the acquisition of environmental air data and for detecting the occupation of the shoreline; a Smart buoy for detecting water parameters and a temperature sensor; a web platform for the management of the ground station and the smart buoy; a mobile application to allow users to verify the occupation of the beaches and the values acquired from the ground stations and smart-buoys.
